The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley area has outdoor adventures galore! It is a landscape ripe for exploring and the perfect location for getting off the beaten track.
The area offers the perfect terrain for cycling, fishing, canoeing and hiking. There is also a High Ropes course for the more adventurous visitor or those in search of a more relaxing experience, why not take a steam train ride through the Forest of Dean.
On rainy days there’s also plenty to do in the area, from visiting museums to exploring caves. These are just a few suggestions for you to try.
SJ Golf Academy and Golf course - P.G.A Professional Stuart Jenkins
Based at Bells hotel and country club, the golf course is open to all visitors, a well kept resort course that will appeal to all.
The academy can provide equipment, coaching, and repairs, whilst the golf shop stocks a wide variety of products including clothing, If you need help or advice, the friendly, knowledgeable staff are always on hand to give you some tips to help you enjoy your time here.
They also offer a state of the art Golf Studio which can be used for coaching, custom fitting. Also the studio is for hire for those rainy days - why not play a few holes in the warm and dry?!
Paddleboarding/kayaking/rock climbing
